FAQs
What makes Sauttis industrial dump trailers different?
Sauttis trailers are designed for real-world industrial work. Our engineering and design team addresses common weaknesses in dump trailers: rusted joints, sagging gates, wiring failures, and weak suspension. With heavy-duty steel construction, patented suspension, modular wiring, and serviceable parts, every Sauttis trailer is built to perform consistently.
Why are Sauttis trailers more expensive?
You’re investing in reliability. Our trailers are built with the customer in mind. Bolt-on replaceable parts, industrial-grade materials, and serviceable components built in-house lead to fewer breakdowns and lower long-term maintenance costs. Your time is valuable. We’ve engineered Sauttis dump trailers to minimize repairs.
Can I replace individual parts myself?
Yes. Many components, including hinges, fenders, doors, ramps, and sections of the wire harness, are designed for easy field replacement. This makes maintenance faster, easier, and less costly.
How is the Sauttis wire harness different?
Our six-section modular harness uses automotive-grade connectors, watertight seals, high-temperature wrapping, and a metal guard. If a wire fails, you can replace just that section instead of rewiring the whole trailer.
True wishbone brake wiring balances amperage between the left and right brakes, providing a smoother, more consistent braking system. Other trailers often daisy-chain brake wires, which can create an uneven current flow and lead to weaker braking on one side and potential circuit overload on the other.
What charging options are included?
Our dump trailers come with a 110V outlet and a solar pulse charging system. The system powers the battery bank that runs the hydraulic pump and lift controls and maintains battery health even when the trailer is off-grid.
How long will a Sauttis trailer last?
Our trailers are engineered for longevity. High-quality materials, patented suspension, and replaceable, serviceable parts allow them to withstand heavy use and harsh industrial conditions for many years.
Why are Sauttis parts bolted on instead of welded?
Bolt-on parts make maintenance and repairs fast and easy. Unlike welded components, which require time-consuming and costly replacements, bolted parts can be swapped in the field, reducing downtime and keeping your operations moving.
What kind of maintenance do Sauttis trailers require?
Routine maintenance is straightforward thanks to serviceable components and greasable joints. Regular inspections, lubrication of pivot points, and replacing worn bolted parts when necessary are all that is required to keep your trailer in peak condition.
Do you offer support after purchase?
Absolutely. We support our customers for the life of their trailer. Whether you need troubleshooting advice or maintenance guidance, we treat every customer as a partner, not just a sale.
What does the warranty cover?
Sauttis trailers come with a five-year warranty that covers mechanical failures, weld breaks, and other key components. Our goal is to provide peace of mind so you can focus on your work without worrying about equipment failures.
Are Sauttis trailers suitable for extreme conditions?
Yes. Every trailer is tested and engineered to handle tough industrial conditions, including heavy loads, rough terrain, and frequent use.
